"When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: Yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet."
(Proverbs 3:24)
The wisdom of God will put you in the place of safety. The fear of The LORD is the beginning of wisdom; and the wisdom of God is Christ Jesus. When you are walking in the wisdom of God, and obeying God’s counsel, you will lie down and not be afraid!! Hallelujah!!!
Proverbs 1:33 says,
"But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, And shall be quiet from fear of evil."
It is God who will make you dwell in safety and that is why it is very important to fear God and to walk in the wisdom of God.
Matthew 10:28 reminds us thus:
"And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell."
In the Fear of The Lord is security and safety! The fear of God in you and which you have should dispel every other fear - “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of love, power and of a sound mind.”
