(Malachi 3:17)
“And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.”
Brethren! Do you know that serving the Lord in Spirit and in truth is very rewarding, both on this earth and in the world to come?
Yes, it is! Because, God teaches the meek His ways, He shows those who fear Him His covenant and brings them to the place of covenant promise!
Know it:
Salvation is a personal thing! It is to you, according to your faith.
So, you are supposed to work out your salvation with fear and trembling. And it is your responsibility to bring yourself to the place that God will say: ‘you are Mine.’
1 Peter 2:9 tells us expressly –
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:”
Therefore, you have to continue to show forth the praises of God who hath called you out of darkness into His marvellous light, because you are His and you are a peculiar treasure in His hand.
Remember!
God wants you to come to that point where you can say boldly that you are special to Him, not because you made yourself special; but He has made you special.
So, be encouraged to know that as long as you have purposed to walk in Him, fear Him, and you are walking in obedience to His word: then, you will be His!
