“Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.” (Acts 3:1)
Men and Brethren: Keep time with God in prayers! If God is your Father, you must keep time with Him in communion and in communication through His Son Jesus Christ!!
Therefore: Make it a point to pray, because it is ONLY in the place of prayers that you will be empowered by the Holy Spirit: to receive revelation from the Lord, to be encouraged and be taught the way to go to profit.
John 14:13 charges us thus –
“And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.”
Know it that, it is in the place of prayers you will receive instruction and be able to see the areas of your life that need to be purged and cleansed through the Word of God. And once you continue in the place of prayer, the Spirit of God will quicken you, to know to keep communication and communion with God the Father and God the Son. He will bring you to the place of prayers always because it is in the place of prayers you will receive direction.
Remember! Peter and John have received the outpouring of the Spirit. Yet! They still continued in prayers and were rich in faith.
So: be encouraged to continue in the place of prayer. For everyone who has accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, …as you continue to walk by faith and grow in your faith, believing what Jesus Christ did for us on the cross of Calvary, you will continue to become richer and richer in faith!!
